| BIOMATCH Z by Zerrin Hodgkins (edited by Martin Noble) (Biodata, £24.50 hbk) |
| This is a very nice, up-to-date
work on biorhythms that has taken away the need for any complicated calculations. The
majority of the book is given over to listing all the tables needed for finding your
biorhythms for any day and discovering how you stand in a compatibility study - over 500
pages in fact. Now that leaves just 70 pages to explain what biorhythms are all about and here I feel the author has slipped up a little. She could have supplied more information than is here but, in her defence, has explained what is presented rather well. Nevertheless, this is a dedicated work of art and it shows. Much hard work has gone into its preparation and it is a credit to the author. For those who are mathematically challenged, there is but a single calculation to be made in order to obtain your biorhythms for whatever date you want. This is a simple subtration of one number from another once these have been looked up in the tables provided. What could be easier! Apart from an American book published about 25 years ago that listed biorhythms in tabular form sine-waves for 100 years, there has not been so well-presented a book on the subject as the one currently under review. The instructions are easy to follow, calculations have been kept to an absolute minimum and the explanations are short but to the point. This really is a must for anyone who wants to had to his/her knowledge of biorhythms. Highly recommended. |
