All God's chillun got
'rhythms'
You've swotted up on your horoscopes and crossed gypsies' palms with silver to find out if your love life is a match made in heaven.
But at last a book, Biomatch Z, has been published which claims to unlock the mysteries of l'amour by analysing the ups and downs of the body's biological clock.
A revolutionary new book on biorhythms - the cycles which affect our emotional, intellectual and physical energy - is published in September.
Author of Biomatch Z, Zerrin Hodgkins
"When I saw biorhythms were based on a scientific approach, it appealed to me"

But today author Zerrin Hodgkins lets XS readers into the secrets of using biorhythms to find the perfect mate.
And we have a chance for 10 couples to have their compatibility charts worth £45 each - drawn up by Zerrin.
For her book, Zerrin studied the relationships of stars, and came up with some revealing insights.
According to their biorhythms. Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley are emotional soul mates - but have very low physical compatibility.
While love's young dream, Spice Girl Victoria Adams and David Beckham, have virtually nothing in common.
"I find most stage couples have very poor compatibility and it's amazing that their relationships last." said Zerrln, who worked in the fashion industry before embarking on an engineering career.
Biorhythms appealed to her because of the scientific way the charts are compiled, but she admits that she was sceptical when she first heard about them and Initially dismissed it as another load of mystic mumbo-jumbo.
"I hadn't heard of it until my sister started reading a book a few years ago and suggested I read it," she says.
"I only really knew about astrology - I used to read my horoscope, but had never been interested in anything else.
"But I agreed to look at this book anyway, and when I saw biorhythms were based on a scientific approach, it appealed to me, and I decided to study it in more depth."

After three years, she came up with a formula which could calculate the compatibility of two people's biorhythm charts at any given point in their lives, giving a percentage compatibility for the emotional, physical and intellectual cycles, and a profile of what this for work, love and friendship.
"It was a mammoth task, and nobody thought it could ever be put into a book," she said. "But I was determined to do it and I know it will fascinate people".
Zerrln herself admits she uses the charts of her teenage son and her boyfriend as a barometer to see if there may be stormy times ahead: "If I see that our cycles are far apart next week, I can be prepared to deal with those irrational arguments that sometime crop up !"
And she was able to identify some of the problems in her relationship with her ex-husband after examining their biorhythmic compatibility.
She says it can also be used to analyse working relationships, and she drew up charts for Noel and Liam Gallagher: "It's no wonder they get into fights - this is caused by an imbalance between their intellectual and physical compatibility which means they think alike but act differently. Yet their emotional compatibility is adequate for them to make up and carry on."
Not surprisingly, the profile wasn't so good for the Spice Girls: "The two Mels are quite compatible, but you can see that it's not an organic group. They didn't come together naturally so they have to be managed. They probably got on for so long because they were brought up to a point of being famous by somebody else until they found their platform.
"But you could see that if something went wrong, they would fall apart easily."
Born in Istanbul, Zerrin moved to Britain in 1969, "two days after the Rolling Stones' concert at Hyde Park.
"I was very disappointed to miss it !" she said with a laugh.
After becoming disillusioned with the fashion and textiles industry, and finding a passion for inventing household appliances - which she hopes to obtain patents for - she decided to apply for university to study engineering.
But when the biorhythms book became a full-time occupation, she decided to put university on hold end concentrate on finishing it. And this go-ahead girl is even publishing it herself through her own company.
