Biomatch.com does not use 'permanent' cookies. We do use 'per-session' cookies which are deleted from your computer when your browser program is closed or when the cookie expires, whichever is the sooner.

Our 'per-session' cookies normally expire 60 minutes following your last access of the site. Access to the Biomatch.com home page also cancels our 'per-session' cookies

Scripts etc.

Biomatch.com website does not run any scripts that may be detrimental to your computer. Some Java and Javascript features are employed which are solely to provide added benefit to your visit to the site.

There are no extraneous pop up windows, no advertising or banners.

Browser compatiblity

Biomatch.com is ideally viewed using either:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4, 5 and 6.
    If you use an earlier version we recommend you upgrade (this is free and should be accessed from the Microsoft website.click here for pc or here for Mac)

    The site is optimised for Internet Explorer as it used by 80% of visitors and 95% of our members.

  • Netscape Navigator version 4.
    If you use an earlier version we recommend you upgrade (this is free and should be accessed from the Netscape website click here for version 4.7.)

    We have not tested Biomatch.com with Netscape version 6 since we believe the 6.0 version is flawed. Version 6.1 has just been released download here

  • Opera version 5 (including Java option)
    If you are 'Microsoft reluctant' we recommend this alternative. The current free version is available here

    Computer Compatibility

    Providing you are using an up to date browser we are not aware of any problems experienced with using pcs, Macs or other computers.

    Fonts

    Biomatch.com site uses primarily Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana and Wingdings fonts which we understand are available on most recent computers. The pc and Mac versions of these (and some others) are available free from Microsoft: click here.
